Volleyball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Desert Vista Thunder. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunder this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Desert Vista, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 15-20.

Coming up, Liberty is taking a road trip to face off against Mountain Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions are facing the Mountain Lions at the right time seeing as the Mountain Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Desert Vista, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sunnyslope at 5:30 p.m. The Vikings will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Thunder surely won't give up without a fight.
