Baseball Recap: Summertown Comes Up Short

Summertown fell victim to Huntingdon and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 7-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Summertown got a good showing from Knox Calton, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Calton hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March.

Summertown's loss dropped their record down to 22-13. As for Huntingdon, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-5.

As of now, neither Summertown nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
