Unioto has gone 9-1 against Chillicothe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Shermans are taking a road trip to face off against the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. Chillicothe took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Unioto, who comes in off a win.

Unioto took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against South Webster, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Shermans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Jeeps on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Shermans have posted since August 31, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (105-103) Unioto actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 25-23, 22-25, 15-9.

Unioto found their leader in sophomore Kiley Puckett, who had 14 digs.

Unioto was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Chillicothe had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to Wheelersburg.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-11.

Unioto was able to grind out a solid win over Chillicothe in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Shermans repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
