Basketball Recap: Indian Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against LaMoille on Friday, Indian Creek came back down to earth. The Timberwolves lost 60-40 to the Scales Mound Hornets on Saturday. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Indian Creek lost, don't look at Isaac Willis. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Willis is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Murry, who posted six points and five boards.

Indian Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Scales Mound, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Creek will welcome Marquette at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scales Mound, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
