Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thurston). They blew past the Springfield Millers 80-39 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Colts with their most commanding win of the season.

Thurston's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Springfield, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thurston will head out to face off against Churchill at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Springfield, they are taking a road trip to challenge Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
