Softball Recap: Fountain Valley Find Success

Fountain Valley was handed a eight-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Campo Verde Coyotes.

Fountain Valley now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Campo Verde, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Fountain Valley will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Cerritos at 3:15 p.m. on March 18th. As for Campo Verde, they have already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Mohave on the 8th.
