Basketball Recap: Stuart W. Cramer Beats North Gaston for Their Ninth Straight Victory

Stuart W. Cramer entered their tilt with North Gaston on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the North Gaston Wildcats, posting a 54-18 win. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Stuart W. Cramer was led to victory by Oshauna Holland and Lauren Humphrey. Holland almost dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists, while Humphrey went 9 of 13 on her way to 18 points in addition to six boards and four blocks. Holland is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 43 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Hadley Womack, who posted eight points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Stuart W. Cramer was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Gaston only racked up two assists.

When it comes to explaining why North Gaston lost, don't look at Sai White. Despite the final result, she had 11 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 61.1% of North Gaston's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Stuart W. Cramer's victory bumped their record up to 12-1. As for North Gaston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stuart W. Cramer will venture away from home to square off against South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stuart W. As for North Gaston, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the North Gaston Wildcats challenge the Forestview Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Gaston is facing Forestview at the right time seeing as Forestview is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
