MaxPreps/NSCAA High School State Players of the Week for August 29-September 4, 2016

MaxPreps, the online high school sports leader and The National Soccer Coaches Association of America team up to honor the nation's best. (Week of 8/29-9/4)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 7, 2016) - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America and MaxPreps announced today the three boys and three girls who have been named the NSCAA/MaxPreps High School State Players of the Week for their on-field efforts August 29 through September 4.

The NSCAA uses results and statistics provided by MaxPreps.com to select one boy and one girl honoree from each participating state competing during the fall high school season.

Coaches wanting to nominate their players must submit statistics to MaxPreps.com in order for their athletes to be considered; nomination instructions can be found below. Winners receive a MaxPreps/NSCAA branded letterman's patch and recognition on both MaxPreps.com and NSCAA.com.

Nominations are due every Sunday by at 11:59 p.m. ET each week to be considered.
