Volleyball Recap: Stone Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Stone, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pearl River Central Blue Devils by a score of 3-1 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Chloe Tucker paced Stone's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tucker got some help from Addison Willis and her 24 assists. Willis also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Payton Gonzalez, each putting up five.

Stone is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for Pearl River Central, they dropped their record down to 0-19 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Stone will face off against Perry Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pearl River Central, they will square off against Harrison Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
