Recap: Dayton Bulldogs vs. South Hunterdon Eagles
The Dayton Bulldogs fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 55-48 win over South Hunterdon on Saturday. For Dayton, this counts as revenge for the 57-49 loss South Hunterdon walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Dayton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyle Rosenstock, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Manfredi, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Dayton's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for South Hunterdon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dayton will take on American Christian School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Hunterdon, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Warren County Tech at 7:00 p.m. South Hunterdon is facing Warren County Tech at the right time seeing as Warren County Tech is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
