Baseball Recap: Bunn Picks Up Eighth Straight Win on the Road

Bunn got themselves on the board against Nash Central on Wednesday, but Nash Central never followed suit. They won by a run and slipped past the Bulldogs 1-0. Those one runs were actually the fewest the Wildcats have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Bunn's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Nash Central, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bunn will square off against Louisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches. As for Nash Central, they will face off against First Flight at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
