Pioneer had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 9-3 margin over the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Diamondbacks, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Pioneer pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10 runs. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pioneer will head out to face off against Vela at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Vela knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Pioneer likes a good challenge. As for Mission Veterans Memorial, they will venture away from home to square off against Roma at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
