Recap: Southwind Jaguars vs. Memphis Central Warriors

Southwind fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Memphis Central on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Memphis Central Warriors by a score of 16-15. Both teams can probably skip cardio this week after making that many trips around the bases.

Southwind's loss dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Memphis Central, their record is now 3-4.

Southwind will head out on the road to challenge Ridgeway at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ridgeway and Southwind are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Memphis Central, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Melrose at 5:30 p.m.
