Basketball Recap: Pella Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Pella won the last time they faced Des Moines Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pella Dutch walked away with a 74-64 win over the Des Moines Christian Lions.

Pella has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.2 points per game. As for Des Moines Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Pella will be playing at home against Norwalk at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pella has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Des Moines Christian, they will head out to face off against Pleasantville at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Des Moines Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Pleasantville likes a good challenge.
