Basketball Recap: Bremen Gets the Win

Bremen won the last time they faced Triton, and Tyrus Graverson did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bremen Lions managed a 49-43 victory over the Triton Trojans on Tuesday for which the team can thank Graverson, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 17 points and five boards. Bremen is undefeated when Graverson posts 15 or more points, but 8-10 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Silas Laidig, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in steals (four).

Bremen now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Triton, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 17-4.

Bremen has already played their next contest, a 62-19 win against Culver Community on the 28th. As for Triton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-26 victory against Knox on the 28th.
