Baseball Recap: South Pike Comes Up Short

South Pike lost against Port Gibson last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 13-1 to the Blue Waves. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Pike's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Port Gibson, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

Coming up, South Pike will take on Tylertown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Port Gibson, they will face off against Hazlehurst at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Waves are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
