Baseball Recap: Sundown Comes Up Short

Sundown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the Ropes Eagles. The Roughnecks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Sundown now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Ropes, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

While Sundown had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
