Rocky Ford is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They had to suffer through a 62-20 loss at the hands of Springfield. The Meloneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-12.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Swink challenged McClave on Thursday. The Lions were dealt a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost seven in a row.

Swink's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Rocky Ford, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Everything went Rocky Ford's way against Swink in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Rocky Ford made off with a 52-30 victory.
