Basketball Game Preview: Muscle Shoals Trojans vs. Hartselle Tigers

Muscle Shoals hasn't had much luck against Hartselle recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Muscle Shoals Trojans are taking a road trip to challenge the Hartselle Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Muscle Shoals is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 51-42 win over Athens. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 234th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Hartselle strolled past Decatur with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 61-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Hartselle is also on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. As for Muscle Shoals, their record now sits at 15-8.
