Softball Recap: Beekmantown Eagles vs. Peru Nighthawks
Beekmantown had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past the Peru Nighthawks 7-5. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered an 11-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Lillian Perry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 11 Ks.
