Soccer Game Preview: Tea vs. Watertown

The Tea Titans will head out on the road to challenge the Watertown Arrows at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Watertown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.

Tea is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of South Dakota's top teams: Aberdeen Central, who was ranked sixth at the time (Tea was ranked 17th). The Titans came up short against the Golden Eagles on Saturday, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Watertown kept a clean sheet against Yankton on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bucks/Gazelles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Watertown.

Watertown has now won four of their last five games at home. That run has powered them to a 5-1-1 record this season. The home victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those five contests. As for Tea, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-2.
