A big congratulations to Maddox Jones, who grabbed at least five steals for the first time in his career. He posted nine points and six steals, helping propel Appling County past Berrien by a score of 67-63. That new career-high tops his previous best of a steal (the last time he grabbed that many was on Saturday.

Jones will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Crisp County on Friday. The matchup will pit Jones up against the Cougars' star shooting guard Wesley Granville. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
