The North Hills Christian Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Even though North Hills Christian couldn't quite topple North Rowan on Friday, it was still a huge improvement compared to the 14-point loss they took when the two last played. Everything went North Hills Christian's way against North Rowan as North Hills Christian made off with a 19-9 victory. The win was just what North Hills Christian needed coming off of a 13-3 defeat in their prior matchup.
Chris Barringer was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 11 batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. Barringer was even better at the plate, scoring five runs and stealing five bases while going 4-for-4.
