Lafayette won the last time they faced Mid-Buchanan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lafayette Fighting Irish sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 75-73 win over the Mid-Buchanan Dragons. Winning may never get old, but the Fighting Irish sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row dating back to last season.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Mid-Buchanan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Lafayette will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Winnetonka at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Mid-Buchanan and Penney will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
