Basketball Recap: Ridgeway Comes Up Short

Ridgeway was the 72-63 winner over Munford when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ridgeway Roadrunners fell just short of the Munford Cougars by a score of 42-40 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Roadrunners have suffered since December 8, 2023.

Elisha Patrick continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Munford, shooting 44% from the field en route to 22 points. Patrick continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was JaDyn Lee, who posted seven points along with 14 rebounds and six assists.

Ridgeway's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Munford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Ridgeway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Munford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-53 win against Kirby on the 6th.
