Football Preview: Bainbridge Spartans vs. Olympic Trojans

The Bainbridge Spartans will challenge the Olympic Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bainbridge took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They breezed by Bremerton at home to the tune of 43-13. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their six-point performance the game before.

Garrett Goade was a one-man wrecking crew for Bainbridge as he rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Goade also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing a fumble and making seven total tackles (2.5 for loss). Jack Grant was another key player, punching in a rushing score.
