Fairport is 7-2 against Penfield since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Red Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Patriots at 7:00 p.m.

Fairport is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Rush-Henrietta on Saturday. The Red Raiders took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royal Comets. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Red Raiders were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Penfield ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 27-21 win over Pittsford. The Patriots' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Penfield picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Fairport, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Fairport was able to grind out a solid win over Penfield when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 24-14. Will the Red Raiders repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
