Make it five blowout wins for the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles this season. They put the hurt on Oregon-Davis with a sharp 60-36 victory on Saturday. With Elkhart Christian Academy ahead 39-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Leading Elkhart Christian Academy to victory were Aiden Hibbard and Kian Hibbard. Hibbard scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Hibbard scored 13 points along with five steals. Hibbard is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was LJ Bevier, who scored nine points along with two steals.
Elkhart Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Oregon-Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elkhart Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Jimtown at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Jimtown will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Oregon-Davis, Oregon-Davis and Winamac will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
