Soccer Recap: Georgetown's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

Georgetown came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to the Hendrickson Hawks. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in January, the team can't take the result too hard.

Georgetown's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five games. As for Hendrickson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Georgetown will venture away from home to face off against Weiss at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hendrickson, they will welcome Pflugerville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Pflugerville sitting on three straight wins and Hendrickson on six.
