Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McAllen Memorial). They claimed a resounding 81-39 victory over the Pioneer Diamondbacks. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-52 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Pioneer still got an impressive performance from Muhamed Shaath, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The contest was Shaath's tenth in a row with at least ten points.

The win got McAllen Memorial back to even at 11-11. As for Pioneer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-16.

McAllen Memorial has already played their next matchup (against Sharyland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Pioneer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-45 loss against McAllen on the 21st.
