Basketball Recap: Fillmore Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Fillmore entered their tilt with Friendship on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 51-21 victory over the Friendship Golden Eagles. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 684th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Fillmore pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points over those games.
