North Lenoir is 9-1 against South Lenoir since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The North Lenoir Hawks will take on the South Lenoir Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. North Lenoir will be strutting in after a win while South Lenoir will be coming in after a loss.

North Lenoir is coming into the matchup on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They managed a 73-68 win over James Kenan on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, South Lenoir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Duplin.

South Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for North Lenoir, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-10.

North Lenoir strolled past South Lenoir when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 75-58. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Lenoir since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
