After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Alma, Arapahoe was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Brady Eagles with a sharp 65-39 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season.

Arapahoe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Desi Farner led the charge by putting up 12 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Farner a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Suttyn Shafer, who posted 14 points and five assists.

Arapahoe smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lydia Mcgown, who scored 13 points and five rebounds. Ella Lydic was another key player, posting ten points.

Arapahoe's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Brady, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Arapahoe won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Hitchcock County at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brady, they will head out to face off against Medicine Valley at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th.
