Volleyball Recap: Russell Takes a Loss

Russell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Cimarron Bluejays.

Madeleine Middleton paced Russell's offense, picking up four kills. Middleton got some help from Norah Mooney and her seven assists.

Russell's defeat dropped their record down to 2-29. As for Cimarron, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 19-17.

Russell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Southwestern Heights on the 20th. Cimarron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
