Football Game Preview: Wells Warriors vs. Greely Rangers

The Wells Warriors will head out to challenge the Greely Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wells is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: Leavitt, who was ranked sixth at the time (Wells was ranked 11th). The Warriors snuck past the Hornets with a 12-7 victory on Friday. The 12-point effort marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Greely strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They strolled past Foxcroft Academy with points to spare, taking the game 34-19.

Wells now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Greely, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
