Baseball Recap: ROWVA/Williamsfield Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

ROWVA/Williamsfield can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 10-6 win over the Delavan Panthers. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 10-0 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Preston Lafary looked comfortable as he tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Keagan Gerlach, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Zander Vest, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and one double.
