Baseball Recap: Stigler Takes a Loss

After flying high against Perkins-Tryon on Friday, Stigler came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Inola Longhorns on Saturday, falling 12-1. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 13-0 to the Longhorns when the teams met back in May of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stigler's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 22-7. As for Inola, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8.

Stigler wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-9 win against Perkins-Tryon on the 3rd. Hopefully Inola paid attention to the Panthers' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Panthers on Sunday.
