Volleyball Recap: Burns Gets the Win

Burns hadn't done well against Rawlins recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Broncs walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Outlaws. This was payback for the Broncs, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Burns had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-18.

The win made it two in a row for Burns and bumps their season record up to 6-8. As for Rawlins, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burns will face off against Buffalo at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rawlins, they will be playing at home against Douglas at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
