Softball Recap: Indian River Indians vs. Seaford Bluejays

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Indian River). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Seaford Bluejays a 13-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Indians considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Se'Tara McGee and Autumn Willey were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, McGee tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Willey struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. At the plate, McGee went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs, while Willey went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two hits gave McGee a new career-high.
