M Leininger posted a new career-low in hits on Wednesday. He was unstoppable, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Leininger and Springfield Southeast will challenge Mt. Pulaski at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
