Basketball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Benjamin Franklin can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 70-15 loss at the hands of the Edmondson-Westside Red Storm. The Bayhawks lost against the Red Storm in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 58-27 score last time.

Benjamin Franklin has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. Edmondson-Westside's win bumped their record up to 15-4.

Benjamin Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edmondson-Westside, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 74-52 loss against Forest Park on the 5th.
