Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Logan Wessel stepped things up a notch to give Chicago Mt. Carmel the 'W'. Wessel went 7-for-11 en route to 17 points and five rebounds. The performance marked the most points he has had since back in December of 2025.

Wessel and Chicago Mt. Carmel will square off against Hinsdale Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils will enter the matchup having just beaten Proviso West, so the Caravan will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
