Baseball Game Preview: Chandler Park Academy Eagles vs. Rose Leadership Academy

The Chandler Park Academy Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against Rose Leadership Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rose Leadership Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Chandler Park Academy, who comes in off a win.

While Chandler Park Academy's win against University Prep wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Panthers 11-10. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the game before.

Jayden Lawson was a standout: he scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Tyler Paige, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Rose Leadership Academy started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against River Rouge. They lost 18-11 to the Panthers on Friday. While Rose Leadership Academy didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating River Rouge 4-0 in the first period.

Rose Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Chandler Park Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
