Baseball Recap: Saugus Sachems vs. Winthrop Vikings

Saugus's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Winthrop Vikings get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Sachems as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Danny Zeits made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Saugus is 2-1 when Zeits allows two or fewer hits, but 3-7 otherwise.
