Recap: Tartan Titans vs. Two Rivers Warriors
The Tartan Titans were the 55-41 winner over the Two Rivers Warriors when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Tartan took a 54-36 bruising from Two Rivers on Tuesday. Tartan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Tartan lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cadence Vu, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Aliyanna Alarcon-padilla, who scored four points along with two steals.
Tartan has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-13 record this season. As for Two Rivers, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tartan will take on North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Minnesota (North is ranked 322nd, while Tartan is ranked 336th). As for Two Rivers, they will be playing at home against New Prague at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
