Northeast has gone 9-1 against Southwest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Northeast Raiders and the Southwest Patriots will meet in a classic North v. South matchup at 6:00 p.m. Northeast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.

Last Saturday, Northeast ended up a good deal behind Academy for Classical Education and lost 57-39. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 316th, while the Gryphons are ranked 126th).

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jada Smith, who posted nine points and five rebounds. Alayla Hooks was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Southwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 58-44 bruising from Northeast.

Like Southwest, they lost despite seeing results from several players. Shakiya Dean led the charge by earning 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of MySaviour Darby, who put up 13 points.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Southwest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.

Northeast strolled past Southwest in their previous meeting on Friday by a score of 58-44. Does Northeast have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southwest turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
