Basketball Game Preview: Jones County Coyotes vs. Bennett County Warriors

The Jones County Coyotes will head out to take on the Bennett County Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Jones County will be strutting in after a victory while Bennett County will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, Jones County was able to grind out a solid win over Herreid/Selby, taking the game 51-38.

Jones County can attribute much of their success to Bryer Kinsley, who went 8-for-17 on his way to 18 points along with five boards and four steals, and Jace Nix, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Dawson Hunt was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 73 points the game before, Bennett County was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were beaten by New Underwood 66-23. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Bennett County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Jones County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Jones County came up short against Bennett County in their previous matchup back in January, falling 48-44. Can Jones County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
