Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Wins Going Away Against ALA - Ironwood

Valley Christian's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the ALA - Ironwood Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Valley Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-9, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was Travis Christy, who had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave him a new career-high.

Valley Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for ALA - Ironwood, they dropped their record down to 6-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Valley Christian has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Crismon on the 11th. ALA - Ironwood has also already played their next contest (against BASIS Phoenix), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
