Baseball Game Preview: Buhach Colony Thunder vs. Turlock Bulldogs

Buhach Colony is 2-8 against Turlock since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Buhach Colony Thunder will be playing at home against the Turlock Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. Buhach Colony will be strutting in after a win while Turlock will be coming in after a loss.

Buhach Colony is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Grace Davis 3-1.

Daniel Sims looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024.

On the hitting side, Jacob Medina was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs.

Meanwhile, Turlock suffered their biggest defeat since March 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Lodi, falling 8-1. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Flames: they've now lost three in a row.

Turlock saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Henard, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.
