Softball Game Preview: Saddleback Roadrunners vs. Estancia Eagles

Saddleback is 2-8 against Estancia since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Roadrunners will face off against the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. Saddleback has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Saddleback came up short against Magnolia on Friday, falling 14-4.

Meanwhile, Estancia lost 15-5 to La Quinta on Wednesday.

Estancia's loss dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Saddleback, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Saddleback got the 'W' when the teams last played two weeks ago against Estancia by a conclusive 14-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Roadrunners since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
